Mission
Rock Harbor Christian Academy partners with Christian families to equip students to embrace a Christ-centered worldview, grow as servant leaders, and steward God's unique purpose for their lives.
Partnership with Christian Families: RHCA serves Christian families through a vital partnership. During the school year, students spend the vast majority of their time either at school or involved with school-related activities. We help families steward this time well with teachers and staff who support rather than undermine the foundation of Christian values that families have laid for their children.
Embrace a Christ-Centered Worldview: Education is never neutral, and we are committed to helping our students deepen their relationship with Christ. We aspire to help students come to understand that God created the world and has a plan for them and their relationships. The truth of God’s good news for our lives and the grand story of redemption permeate everything we do, and our identity as a Christ-centered community permeates every aspect of school life.
Grow as Servant Leaders: RHCA offers opportunities for students to serve in chapel, community service, and student government. Our program equips students with the skills necessary for successful leadership in the real world.
Steward God's Unique Purpose for Their Lives: God designed each student purposefully to impact the world for Jesus Christ. We aspire to mentor and disciple children as they discover and develop the unique gifts they have been given.
Dominion Mandate: Genesis 1:28
God has given man authority and responsibility over creation. We are called to cultivate and care for knowledge and understanding, reflecting God's character in the pursuit and application of learning. We are to use our spiritual and intellectual gifts to benefit society. RHCA educates students within the framework of a Biblical worldview, fostering Christian character, and encouraging them to engage with the world in a way that reflects God's purposes. This involves academic instruction and the development of virtues like integrity, compassion, and a sense of responsibility, preparing students to be positive influences in their communities and beyond.
